Co-Founder and President, Rudi Schreiner, grew up in Vienna, Austria, along the Danube River. While our other Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, Kristin Karst, grew up in East Germany on the banks of the Elbe River. A Wide Variety of Included Excursions

We offer up to four or five guided hikes and bike rides on most of our Danube River sailings, as well as guided walking tours and immersive culinary-themed Special Interest Tours so guests can fully experience the flavor of each destination. Every one of these excursions is included in the price of the river cruise.

Choose your pace: In many cases, you’ll have a choice of gentle, regular and active tour paces. There are even some late riser tours for those guests who prefer to sleep in.
